Candidate Speech At LCCI Postponed And 15 Candidates Protest Exclusion

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, was due to address the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry today. However, Arise Television began announcing that Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu had pulled out of the event (Chief Tinubu is due to address the chamber in October). The actual fact of the matter is that Peter Obi’s address to the chamber was postponed and he and Chief Tinubu will address the LCCI.Mr Obi is currently at the South African High Commission in Abuja, where he is meeting with ambassadors of countries that are members of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).Ofuji Peter Obi @MistaChikaPeter Obi’s speech at LCCI private sector economic forum today has been postponed to Monday 19th September,2022.Disregard the misinformation being spread by @ARISEtv that he withdrew from the forum.https://twitter.com/MistaChika/status/1569984660305838081
